Five Elements Diet and Nutrition / Five Elements Qigong

Learn how to apply the concepts of Five Elements Food and Nutrition to healthy food and meal preparation for health, longevity, preventing illness and how food affects your emotions and causes cravings. Participants will learn how different cooking methods and temperatures change the way our bodies react to the food we eat. The concept of "Everything holds its opposite" will be a foundational theme of this workshop. Several types of Five Elements Qigong will be practiced throughout the workshop to help understand how the energetics of food and movement come together. The meals prepared for this workshop will use organic whole foods from all five element food categories to create delicious entrees.

Whole Food Plant Based Diet and Nutrition to Prevent and Reverse Chronic Conditions / Primordial Qigong

In this workshop participants will not only learn why a plant based or predominantly plant based diet can prevent and reverse chronic conditions but also how to prepare and incorporate plant based nutrition into your existing diet. Delicious meal preparation, understanding plant based sources of protein and learning about the nutrients in plants that are responsible for achieving and maintaining good health will be the foundation of this workshop. Primordial Qigong, considered to be one of the most powerfully healing movement ceremonies ever created, will be practiced throughout this workshop. Join us as we learn and experience the amazing and profound ways a plant based or predominantly plant based diet and primordial qigong can unlock the mind and bodies natural healing abilities. The delicious meals prepared for this workshop will be all plant based.

Whole Food Plant Based Diet and Nutrition for Super Immunity

The whole foods plant-based diet and nutrition super immunity module is designed to show you how a whole food plant-based diet can get your body‘s immune system working to its fullest potential. Modern science as advanced to the point where we have evidence that the right raw materials and nutritional factors can double or triple the protective power of the immune system. If you learn to fill every cell with the right nutrition and meet the demands of each cell, the body’s defenses can take on superhero qualities and you will hardly ever get sick again. Participants will learn how food equals good health and how a plant based Whole Foods diet super charges our immune system. There will also be a discussion on healthy carbs fats and proteins and how to make choosing healthy foods a part of your everyday life. Without healthy nutrition we would be unable to effectively replenish our reservoirs of Qi and our bodies would eventually break down. Tai Chi and Qigong help to replenish our Qi but they work in harmony with nutrition and mindful breathing exercises.
